Carton2Garden @ Rossview Elementary

This year we have been working hard on a new garden project at our school. It has been a lot of fun and a lot of work, but totally worth it. We had the local newspaper come out and do an article about our project. Our students are learning what it is to plant something from a seed, grow and take care, nurture it, and see it come to life to make a plant that they can actually harvest. Carton 2 Garden contest

My art club kids have been collaborating with our recycling team to create a recycled garden. We used milk cartons from our cafeteria and all kinds of recyclables to create a rain forest themed garden. We are amazed at the progress in which our plants are growing! The students are enjoying watching our garden grow. We planted beans, flowers, and watermelon seeds. Hopefully we will win the carton2garden spring 2016 contest!  Here are some pictures of our project:

GREENDAY CLARKSVILLE 2012

Our Art Club has been working hard on a sculpture made from recycled materials. This will be on display this Saturday at APSU's Red Barn from 9-4. Come out and vote for us before 3:30 so we can win a $3000 Grant for the Art Dept. !!!!!!
