Arts in school
3rd grade students did African art projects. We learned about the many fiber arts of Africa, made plaster masks, and Tribal art. Some of the teachers even created projects with their individual classes!

Ceramic Artist visit
Last month we had a great visit from a local ceramic artist who worked with students to create clay projects. We had a lot of fun and the bowls and snowmen have now been fired and are ready to glaze! My school district came out and interviewed us to create a video about the visit which is sponsored by APSU.
