Foil Metapec Sun project

I'm trying a new project from the author of dynamic art projects for children. We are studying South American culture, so why not go for the classic sun symbol?
We are using styrofoam plates, trays, & recycled cafeteria trays to shape the face. Then spray with adhesive and cover with foil, rub (great time to discuss embossing) then add colors with sharpie. The kids are loving it & the results are wonderful!
